We host two outdoor events per year that bring the community together for an experience of local food, drink, and merch.
A WINTER MARKET CELEBRATING THE HOLIDAY SEASON
Debuting winter 2013, Project: MARKET is a kick-off to the holiday shopping season that encourages visitors to shop local. The heated outdoor market is held the first weekend in December and features a range of vendors selling jewelry, clothing, home goods, stationery, food, drinks, and more. The Jersey City Project also partners with local nonprofits during the market to host a toy drive and donate food to Jersey City-based food banks. Melding an old-world bazaar aesthetic with elements from popular culture, Project: MARKET hosts new vendors both days with the tag line: EAT. DRINK. SHOP.
A SUMMER FESTIVAL OF FOOD AND FUN
Project: EATS launched in summer of 2014 as an annual food-centric marketplace celebrating warm days, cool drinks, and delicious eats in the heart of downtown Jersey City. If you’re a foodie (or just hungry) EATS offers a cornucopia of the culinary best in Jersey City. Held every June, the two-day outdoor event is family friendly and features over 50 local vendors, including a bar and a range of options for everyone from meat eaters to veg/vegan diners. Plus, The Jersey City Project partners with local nonprofits to limit food waste and provide monetary donations to area food banks.
