Let us introduce ourselves: we're THE JERSEY CITY PROJECT. We've got big plans for the future, but right now we're excited to announce the first of several initiatives. PROJECT: MARKET is a curated outdoor market located in the burgeoning Historic District area of Jersey City, NJ.
On Sunday, December 8th, from 10am to 7pm we'll be debuting our first market as a kick-off to the holiday shopping season. The market will be prominently located at City Hall (280 Grove Street) and will feature a "Shop Small" theme.
Sponsored in part by some exciting companies (it's a secret right now, but stay tuned for the announcement!), the market will feature a sampling of the following: gourmet food vendors and food trucks; live entertainment; artisans from the handmade furniture, jewelry and clothing industries; and workshops. Stay tuned as we announce all the participating vendors.
So right about now you must be thinking? "Well, who are these people behind THE JERSEY CITY PROJECT?" Don't worry, you know us. Combined, we've lived and owned businesses in Jersey City for more than a decade, We decided to launch this project because we're dedicated to highlighting where we live, the small businesses we work with, and the neighborhood we call home. That's how THE JERSEY CITY PROJECT was born: out of a love for Jersey City and our surrounding community.
So please join us on December 8th to celebrate the launch of PROJECT: MARKET.
